I've listened to this book in audio and what a treat it was!
I don't even know how to write honestly because i always liked a broken hero but Vicious is just too much to deal with at times but the way he redeemed himself is everything and more.
All his pain and suffering made me understand why he acted like he did towards Emilia, still very rude and unnecessarily at times but in a way understandable to show his complexity because this man is very complex and even if he looks like the antihero, he is everything opposite that when it comes to Emilia after they reunite.
I loved the writing style, it just draws you in from the first sentences and everything flows so well, the banter, the side characters, the chemistry and the sexy scenes, all together make for a great read or listening.
