lashette 's review for:
The Lies of Locke Lamora
by Scott Lynch
This was good. Very good. The humour and types of theft were right up my alley. The gentlemen bastards are a core friend group that are a among my favorites now. I really like how the stakes slowly escalated over the course of the book in an almost comical way. With 2 somewhat small exceptions, everything was wrapped up at the end. The apparent tangents all had some point though not apparent at first. So I'm glad I listened to the audio book because that might have driven me mad if I was reading a physical copy.
