The Twisted Roads Home by K.B. Barrett was a heart wrenching, swoony romance. I loved how Emma brightened up up Branson's life. I enjoyed how Emma took control of situations to help make them better for Branson, but still made him feel important. I found Ben's character to be believable and included very well. The side characters were fun and helped really create that small town feel. I do wish we could have seen a slightly bigger cameo from Mark and Winter from the I Found You Series. I also felt that the romantic suspense plot wasn't fully woven together, but perhaps some of my lingers questions will be answered in the following Mountain Roads novels. Overall, I enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what happens next in Savage Valley.
