It was a fun and steamy read! The conclusion of the Union of the Rakes series is finally here. Some of the greatest 80s movies take place in this series, and the last book is no exception. We get "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," AND a bit of "Footloose," well as best as you can in a Regency period romance novel. The trope older woman and a younger man are in play.

Most of this story takes place in a carriage attempting to get Lady Ferris to a weekend bacchanal party and the honorable rule follower Captain Duncan McCameron escorting her there. But incident after incident forcing them to share the one bed left in the inn and moments that can only happen when you bring the 1980s to Regency.

Super-steamy, but that is par for the course with Eva Leigh.
