This book is a morsel of emotion in a well written story. The author conveys family dynamics in a raw and excellent way. Rowan is a single dad, who's ex has passed. His three kids need a nanny. Elaine comes to work for them. And then a slow simmering attraction ensues. This story had me giggling in some passages where they are almost caught, had me feeling for the eldest kid who still has unresolved issues due to losing her mom, and overall the plot is well outlined. If you want a kind of taboo, slow burn spice, age gap, family oriented story, this is your book. I listened to the audiobook, the narrators Stephen Dexter and Audrey Obeyn performed the story to perfection, giving nuance to an emotional journey.
