Winnie-The-Pooh by A.A. Milne
2.0

Too cutesy for my taste. Adorable little animals wandering around the forest and saying cute things about friendship. Cute, yes. Meaningful? Couldn't find much to rave about. Appropriate for children, but I think adult readers might search for philosophical musings a bit too much. Meaning can be found wherever you want to find it, but it doesn't mean that the author actually intended any of that. Hell, I don't know what Milne intended with his stories, but I find it hard to believe that he wanted to write a medical report about different personality disorders with hidden meanings for adult readers. Maybe he just wanted to write bedtime stories for his son?

Or maybe I just got stuck with the annoying nursery rhyme-y form, who knows.
