Neon Gods

“Zeus is notorious for not wanting what he considers tarnished goods.” I take a deep breath. “So… tarnish me.”
Ait, let me just start by saying that I *love* Hades. Every version of him. The original mythology, Katee’s version, the Disney version, you name it. I read this book for the first time back in 2021 when it came out, and it’s one of the books that really got me hooked on reading again, and I’m so grateful for it. It was the first properly spicy book I ever read (and it is SPICY), so it was like my ‘smutty romance awakening’ lol. Just ignoring that I actually think it’s a great book for a moment, I would love it for that alone.
But yes, I love this book. Hades is of course my favorite character, but Persephone is badass, caring, sweet and very intelligent. They’re absolutely perfect for each other, and I love their love. And of course the exhibitionism is hot, ‘cause we all know I love that stuff.
I also highly enjoy the action-y parts. It’s nothing too overwhelming, but just the right amount to keep my inner action-junkie satisfied, lol. I also adore Katee Robert for the queer representation and diverse characters. I haven’t read the rest of the series, but I know that diversity only increases.
