This book was just what I needed. A perfect example of the right book at the right time. I loved following Liz's journey in navigating her way through the jungle that is high-school. I enjoyed seeing the struggling internal conflict of why Liz needed to run for prom queen but also why she was afraid she wouldn't win. The courage it took for her to do what she needed and the friendships she developed along the way made this the perfect light, happy read.
