First read: A Psalm for the Wild-Built is one of those books that nestled its way in and found a home inside my soul. I both wish it were infinitely longer while also knowing it was perfectly enough as it is. I don’t know how to explain the feelings this book has brought out, and I can’t say for sure whether everyone who reads this will feel this sort of kinship with the main character. But for those who do share the same sentiments as Dex, this book will make you feel seen in a way that is impossible to describe. An instant favourite; A Psalm for the Wild-Built is a story that will never leave me no matter how many other stories I live in. Absolute perfection!

Second read: just as amazing as the first time, if not better. The messages in here speak to me and were exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my life. I'm so grateful this book exists and gives me the space to feel my feels and feel so seen <3
