DNF at 40%. The first part of the book grabbed me. I liked Shadow and was interested in this job he was contracted to do. Some of the characters were really funny and engaging. I love the scenes at the Russian house for instance. But this book really gets into too many side stories and explanations that make it hard to figure out what is actually happening. I kept asking myself, who is this character and are they needed for the storyline? It got so distracting that I lost the plot entirely. I was going to slog through to the end, but there were enough parts about Shadow for me to stay interested.
