His Death Bringer
by Courtney W. Dixon
“I want to give you all of me. My love, my fears, my wants, my pain… all of it.”
Oh man did I find a new M/M author that I can devour all her words!
Dante & Luca had me captured from the start. I went in blind cause, Triggers who? And yes it makes it that much better to get into.
From the very beginning I knew Dante would be a bit complex, I mean you don't become what he is without a traumatic backstory to back it up. The reluctance and coldness towards Luca made my heart hurt especially when at the pivotal moment he leaves, I wanted to throw my kindle. I understood why but it didn't make me not like him at that moment. It didn't take long but he made it better soon after..
Luca, this poor boy, and I say that loosely because when we meet him he is ultimately that. His progression and development throughout was so great and not rushed but in a way that was comfortable and acceptable, especially after all he went through. He made me laugh and smile so much in his POV simply by being himself. The light definitely was Luca in his angels dark world.
This book will make you angry at times, sad in others but ultimately this will take you on a ride that you never expected because there are things inside this book that are better left to be found out when you read it for yourself.
If you do have triggers then I highly suggest reading them, please. If not then take the authors word and go in blind, it adds to the story. Trust me.
"I'll miss your heartbeat."
Same Luca, Same.
