In a Jam
by Kate Canterbary
I haven't read a Kate Canterbary book prior to this but a friend suggested this and I'm a sucker for anything small town romance. One of my other favorite tropes is marriage of convenience and this served that as well. It also features a second chance romance (sort of, as they were friends when they were younger and he was always in love with her but she never knew it), so this book has no shortage of great tropes. There is such chemistry between Shay and Noah, and you can tell just how much Noah has always been in love with Shay. IT SHOWS. I absolutely adored the relationship between Noah and the niece he has a guardianship of. Gennie is the funniest, cutest and smartest little girl. She literally had me laughing out loud time and time again. I think this book was a touch too long, which is why I removed a star; I felt like there was some unnecessary fluff that was added and it could have been about 150-200 pages shorters, but overall, it was a great story and somethign I did enjoy.
