This was an excellent debut thriller for adults—I had a blast reading it! The writing was sharp and witty, and the fast pacing fit the story perfectly. The structure, which combines the main character Lucy’s perspective with podcast episodes, was particularly engaging and didn’t disrupt the pacing.

The resolution was satisfying, even if the main culprit felt a bit too obvious throughout the story. What didn’t work for me, however, was the use of the convenient amnesia trope. It was hard to suspend disbelief when the protagonist’s memories returned at just the right moments, and it seemed implausible that everyone involved in the crime would rely so heavily on her memory loss.

Additionally, I noticed a few minor editorial oversights that slightly undermined the book’s quality. I also found the book’s message to be a bit too antimenish for my taste.

Still, I would definitely recommend this to fans of fast-paced thrillers with unconventional storytelling and I'm really glad I've read it!
