The Learning Curve
by Mandy Berman
This book was one I picked up on a whim. The characters were all very flawed and sometimes unlikable, but that's what made them interesting to read about. Also, a lot of different themes were explored, such as grief, power imbalances, and consent. I liked the writing style of the author and found myself immersed in the lives of the women. A thought provoking character driven story. Not much happens plot wise, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. A coming of age story that makes you hopeful for the future of the characters and that they will continue to grow after your time with them has ended.
