Garrett is back after his unacceptable absence from Eleventh Grave, but that's about where the happiness train ends. Reyes is officially back in business as an evil god, and some kind of supernatural entity is randomly ripping and burning civilians. My favorite part is the children's books that detail Charley's life as a god -- you get a huge amount of information in this volume, meet God, and travel to Mexico.

Also, the cliffhanger is the worst yet.
