This is book 3 in a series that is set in Lost Beach, Texas, and has recurring characters but each book focuses on a different pair of main characters. I have somehow missed book 1 but I have read 2 & 3 and I will be going back for the first one asap. They can all be read as stand alones though. I love this series because it is the perfect balance of murder and romance. The murder kept me guessing until the end which is added to the suspense of whether Owen and Macy will do anything about their attraction to each other. There are also a range of other lovable characters that I hope we get to see more of. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
