Mia Sheridan is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always just a punch in the gut and always have my heart squeezing with joy. This was no exception. Jessie and Callen are the ultimate friends to strangers to lovers, second chance romance couple and I adore them. I'll admit, I was hesitant at first because I really don't like when the main male character is supposed to be a "reformed bad boy" but I fell for Callen and his story and the life he was trying to right. I ALSO was hesitant because the main character is a virgin and sometimes that can be... weird, like a conquest for the main male character but this was tastefully done and had an element of beauty to it. Definitely some trigger warnings for this book: alcoholism, abuse, depression, etc. I definitely enjoyed this book and look forward to more from this author!
