I didn’t like it, I didn’t hate it. At some points the writing was luscious, at some points so flat I just raced from page to page aimlessly. 

Although I generally liked how everything was wrapped up, some ambiguity would have done this book some good, I think, especially around the brother. How quickly Ari recovered after getting his casts off also threw me off a bit — trust me, it’s not like that in real life. 

I certainly see why people adore this book, and I must say I did fall in love with the characters. Still, something felt missing.
