Being one who has back problems, I wouldn't have been able to continue down the trail Alix challenged herself to complete. I would've turned around and privately nursed my pride with a hot cup of tea. But then again, I wouldn't have met Kynan. And who can resist a sexy man who can morph into a protective dog?

I enjoyed Alix and Kynan's chemistry. They are great characters who I would love to see again in a novel. The growing tension of danger around Alix was also enjoyable. I just wish we could've witnessed the climax from Kynan's perspective.

If you love paranormal romances, and short stories, this is a story you should definitely read.
