Heir of Fire
by Sarah J. Maas
“And when she grasped the dagger, its weight lighter than she remembered, Rowan looked into her eyes, into the very core of her, and said, ‘Fireheart.’”
This has to be the slowest book in the series, but has the best character development. Sarah, having struggled with depression, writes about mental health in such a raw way, which is what makes her one of my favorite authors. Seeing Celaena finally embrace her identity as Aelin was an incredible transformation. Also, how did we survive 2 books without Aedion, Rowan, and Manon?! Can’t wait to continue on this epic journey.
