Spitfire Girl: An extraordinary tale of courage in World War Two
by Diana Mackintosh
adventurous
challenging
dark
slow-paced
Mackintosh's writign style is very dense. She has an amazing recollection, and the story is moving, but getting through it can be hard. She recalls everything in chilling detail, but perhaps wasn't the best writer when it came to communicating the story.
