Legendborn
“Don’t make your life about the loss. Make it about the love.”
It’s funny bc I never was into King Arthur, but I have enjoyed the retellings I have read!
What I loved:
- Bree’s story was such a good read. I loved watching her evolve.
- Sel’s storyline, especially his background, was great. And I’m here for more Sel.
- It was just a fun read. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
Not so much:
- Bree & Nick’s chemistry is awful
- I needed a glossary as there were a ton of ppl with different ranks
- Alice’s character was there, then completely not and then like hey, there’s all these demons? I’m in.
Overall this is a solid YA Fantasy that doesn’t get ridiculously steamy (ACOTAR Book 4 was a bit much) and doesn’t have dialogue like 14 year olds are talking!
