I’ve read a lot of paranormal/ urban fantasy, and I love them. This book was fun and easy to read, but lacked in something the other series (Mercy Thompson, Kate Daniels, Toby Daye) all have. Those books hold a little back, the main ladies are badass and it’s not all about the sex and fighting. This book gave the reader everything within the first half, there was no slow burn and there was just a bit too much vampire sex for the sake of throwing in some vampire sex. Plus the main character was a bit personality free.

A fun read but I’m not sure I’ll continue reading more
