Heroes in Crisis #2
by Tom King, Clay Mann
This wasn't as good as issue 1 for me.
This issue mostly focuses on Harley and Booster Gold. They are both unstable, both talking a lot about what they did or didn't do, what they might do, and more. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman decide to find out who did this. They go to Harley first but obviously that doesn't go to well. Booster Golde visits Flash and of course that doesn't go well. Then you find out these interviews, or tapes, are now out in the world from the sanctuary.
Good: I really did enjoy some of it. Flash's reaction is fucking great. One of my favorite panels is him running away and coming back a second later. I also enjoyed the idea of having the tapes of these heroes out in the public. My favorite moment would probably be Harley playing cards with a penguin because it's funny. Art is still great.
Bad: The trinity getting beat by Harley is way over the top and even I couldn't believe it. The story feels like it progressed very little in this volume. There's no new questions or ideas of who the killer was.
Overall it's a solid issue but I wanted more. This is good but feels like a bridge issue. A 3 out of 5.
