This was such a cute read. These two had me in my feels, there was such a range of emotions throughout the book; grief, healing, sadness but the best being love and happiness. 

These two have been fighting their feelings for years, Astrid lost her husband and Penn his best friend, both had extremely complicated feelings of love, grief and anger at times. I think that the best thing they both did was give their friendship the years that they did, it built their connection even stronger. 

Penn was there for Astrid and her kids from the beginning and that never change even with his growing feelings. I really like seeing Penn be there for them but never try to force the dad role on to the kids, his presence was known, he was there to support them but never crossed any boundaries none were ready for. 

These two were so supportive of each other and the love they shared was incredible. I can't wait for Grady next!
