I liked this book, liked how it talks about everyday life and what can happen. It's poignant and heartwarming at the same time as it moved me to tears and made me laugh.
There's food for thought and a MC who isn't likeable and grated a bit on my nerves. Ellie is very naif, very juvenile but her character arc is interesting as it's a travel to understand her father that will also involve her and her life.
The author is a good storyteller and I liked the style of writing.
I recommend this book. Please not that it could not be the best choice if you are conservative (if you are European any reference to progressive idea is very vanilla
