Definitely a book by a man for young men. The whole women have to be hurt by men for them to see the light and begin to care about how they treat women kind of goes against the message of the book. I'm tried of that trope, frankly.
The characters are okay. I don't care for the main character, Del, but I do like Kiera and Jameer. Honestly, I wish this book was from Kiera's point of view or that Del wasn't so unlikable for 98% of the book.
