this is book is plotless with flat characters yet i could listen to the audiobook forever. it’s possibly the most atmospheric book i’ve ever read and the narrator did a stellar job. i truly felt transported to this cruel, beautiful world. i even slowed the audiobook speed down (i usually listen at 2x or faster) just to appreciate the narration.

so yeah. 4 stars, and 2.5 of them are for the audiobook.
