Fire of the Frost by Grace Draven, Darynda Jones, Jeffe Kennedy, Amanda Bouchet

⭐️ A Wynter Fyre by Darynda Jones - I’m not here for graphic sexual assault, particularly as a catalyst in a romance novel. It was also kind of brushed off. The MC didn’t seem legitimately angry or vengeful toward the attackers and I’m not cool with that. “Vampire venom” or no, it felt like a non-issue. I would have killed them if I was her or the vampire prince. It didn’t track. To top it off the main relationship was super anticlimactic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ - of Fate and Fire by Amanda Bouchet - I purchased this book for this story. I didn’t expect it to be about Piers. I wasn’t sure I would like that, but overall it was enjoyable enough. Piers became like-able despite what he does in the third book. I found this one funny too! It is a little bit random, but I didn’t have any high hopes for his character. So I guess it’s ok.
