The Dark Forest
by Cixin Liu
DID NOT FINISH
I just couldn't do it.
The text was dreadful. This may be the fault of the author, or of the translator, but it seemed much worse than in [b:The Three-Body Problem|20518872|The Three-Body Problem (Three-Body, #1)|Liu Cixin|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1415428227s/20518872.jpg|25696480]. Generally bad, and the dialogue laughable. It made every page painful to read. And I read 100 of them. I'm sure very exciting twists and whatnot were just around the corner, but up 'til now, the most exciting twist was when that ant rounded the corner of the 7.
