At the beginning I hated this book and thought of dnfing this book because the conversations didn’t have quotes, too much detail, and it felt like I was outside looking into the story and not in the actual story. So, instead of putting the book down, I went onto Libby, a library app, and got the audiobook. The audiobook was so much better and allowed me to get invested into the story. I really loved following the characters over years and seeing them grow. We follow them through different hardships and joys. It’s about growing up. Well done. I definitely recommend this.
