Christmas Cake Murder
by Joanne Fluke
Thank you for Netgalley, the publisher, and Joanne Fluke for providing me with an advanced copy of this book. I am a huge fan of this series. I have read all of the books. I especially enjoyed reading this book as it was a break from the usual.
This book describes the backstory of how Hannah came to be the owner of the Cookie Jar after the passing of her father. Hannah has recently dropped out of college and returned to her hometown in order to support her mother through her time of grief. A local "hero" in town has fallen on some hard times and has been recently hospitalized. Her one request is for a recreation of the "Christmas Ball" to relive her childhood. To help distract Hannah's mom, Delores, her friends decide to get Delores and Hannah on board to help recreate the "hero's" wish.
This was definitely a fun and easy read that Joanne Fluke's fans will enjoy.
