This was a great read! This was one of my most anticipated reads and I'm so happy it didn't disappoint! I loved both Lira and Elian and I loved the fact that the book was written from both of their perspectives - it kept things really interesting! I also really love the fact that this book is a standalone - which is rare in the world of YA fantasy. It was nice to know that things were wrapped up in the end!

Christo has such a lovely writing style and it's hard to believe that this is her debut novel! I will definitely be checking out any future novels she comes out with.

I highly recommend this to any fans of The Little Mermaid or those interested in Sirens, Pirates and crazy adventure! Full review to come on the blog soon!
