Delayed Call

ARC received for an honest review
Delayed Call is the 11th book in the Assassins series, and though I have missed a few along the way, this did not affect my enjoyment of this book at all.
I am a sucker for a hockey book. I love a romance book. I love an enemies to lovers book. Throw them all in together and you get Delayed Call.
This book was so much more than just a hockey story. Vaughn and Brie's story is fill with love and hate, lust , sexual tension out the wazoo (and in it too!!).
And it is filled with heart.
There is so much emotion in this story, can't remember how many times I had a tear in my eye as I was reading.
I loved Vaughn's cockiness - I mean, really, what rich, goodlooking, famous guy wouldn't strut? But more than that, I adore the man he is behind that facade. The man sure will surprise you!
Brie - that woman! I freaking love her. Her bite, her snark, and her big, big heart. I like to think that she and I would be great friends.
I loved the snippets of the Assassins from the previous books. They add fun and laughter to the story, as well as a good dose of reality. I swear, it makes me want to move to Nashville just so I can be friends with them all.
It's a hard choice, but I really think that Delayed Call has become my favourite Assassins novel.
Now I am impatient for what Ms Aleo brings us next.
