P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
4.0

*3.5/5*

I FINALLY FINISHED A BOOK. AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT.

First, let me tell you all Team John peeps that I totally get it now. I really loved his character in this, and I can't wait to see where the movie takes his character!! I also LOVED that we got to see more of Jamie Fox-Pickle, and that Dr. Covey is slowly coming out of his shell, too, and I really loved seeing LJ's growth and the fact that she figures out her mistakes by the end.

Now, for my main gripe with this second instalment in the series (and this will get spoilery, so click at your own risk!)
Spoiler HOW DID PETER JUST. GET OVER THE FACT THAT GENEVIEVE NOT ONLY TOOK THE VIDEO OF HIM AND LJ, BUT ALSO PUT IT ON THE INTERNET AND SHOWED IT IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE SCHOOL?? Like, I'm sorry, but he has literal CONFIRMATION that it was her, and yet he still??? Keeps being there for her???? Like nothing happened????? I get that she was going through difficult times and TW even harming herself at some point TW OVER but COME. ON. He should've dropped her right then and there. Lara Jean was definitely on the jealous side, and I do think that her constantly comparing herself to Genevieve and looking at her and Peter's relationship as the ideal that she can never reach definitely contributed to the tensions that LJ and Peter went through, and I also get that Peter and Gen have ~history~ and it's hard for him to just kick her to the curb, but dude. Seriously. How can you even TALK to this girl anymore after you KNOW she did what she did??

All in all, I definitely liked the first book more, but I still enjoyed "P.S.: I Still Love You" too, and I look forward to FINALLY moving on to "Always and Forever, Lara Jean"! Stay tuned for updates~
