Amber and Daphne Parrish are both back in this sequel. Daphne is making a new life in California with her daughters while Amber takes over as the new Mrs. Parrish but not quite fitting in with Jackson in prison. Daphne is forced back to Bishops Harbor for her girls to reconnect with Jackson. This one was so slow, I was tempted to give up a few times but stuck it out because that's how I felt with the first book as well. There is so much planning and conniving in this story and you just hate the villains that much more.
