Blurred Lines
by Hannah Begbie
This was a deeply moving and poignant book about a woman named Becky who finds herself in a situation that she can’t untangle.
She finds her boss, a man she admires and respects, who’s helped her with so much of her career, with a woman that’s not his wife. Was it rape?
Flicking between Becky’s past and present, the reader truly goes along a rocky road with her. You go through a journey of Becky fighting with a past that she’s never had all the pieces of, her battle of conscience while she tries to establish what she saw and you truly become attached to her character. I felt so angry and hurt for everything she had to go through and continued to go through. As Becky’s life seems to continually unravel, eventually so does the truth.
Very well written and would definitely recommend
