Alright! This is my second Liane Moriarty book and I should say that I like this one better than My Husband's Secret. This is also the second book that I read about bullying.

Three women who keep a secret each are somehow tangled into a murder case. What will happen then?

The narration was vivid and the characters were relatable. The book discusses every woman's problem from ageing to facing domestic violence.

Though it touches the concept of bullying and domestic violence, it is not deep enough to create impact. The concepts are shallow but the story delivered what it wanted to deliver.

In Nineteen Minutes, we read about a child who was bullied throughout his life. But here we see a child(of 5 years) who was accused falsely of bullying another child. Here we get to see how it impacts the mind of a 5-year-old and how he copes with it.

Apart from all these things, what I love in this book are the women. There are so many women with so many qualities and the politics and the bantering, I just want to keep on reading about them. For example, we have a character who was raped and has a body image issue, we have another character who feels jealous about her daughter leaning towards her stepmother and we have one more who is a victim of domestic violence. It has a multitude of characters.

I get to know how complicated women's mind is and how we feel everything(i mean EVERY single thing). Then women in this book had their share of differences but when it came to helping another woman, they set their differences apart and united to help her which was fascinating.

It started off as a normal women's fiction then it proceeded to talk about body image issue, domestic violence, struggling with a teenager and dealing with cheating husbands. Oh! Don't forget the unexpected twist. I see why this is a bestseller.
