I didn't hate it, doesn't love it. The premise was really interesting. High fantasy, an empath who can feel the emotions of the living and the dead. The story was fast paced and interesting, with lots of strange dynamics. I enjoyed it.

I did not like the "romance" however. It was too insta-lovey for me. No real contact and conversations but somehow in love.

The ending wasn't exactly unexpected but it was satisfying. I'll likely pick up the sequel.
