I’ve been waiting for Cody’s book for what feels like forever and it was sooo worth the wait! I adore the way the author writes the single parent trope and Hailey and her daughter were beyond adorable. Hailey is just so sweet and nurturing and she definitely balanced out Cody and his cocky nature. She brought the man to his knees in more ways than one, he falls hard for her and their relationship gave me all the feels. The author really brought the heat here, there were some super steamy scenes and the flirty banter between these two was so good! The suspense was also really intense, especially in the end and the whole dang thing was just SO good! Another great addition to such an amazing series
