Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn
4.0

The premise of this book is absurd in the best way. Retired assassins on a cruise where things quickly turn deadly - and hilarious. This is Golden Girls meets James Bond, with the little flair of Kingsman. From the get-go, we're reminiscing on jobs past that are full of drama and action. And jet-setting around the globe, I'll add! On audio, you still feel like you're watching these cinematic scenes go down (except maybe a bit better with explosions and stuff) and the flip between the narrators was seamless. It has mystery, humor, female friendship, just everything. While I'm not sure how accurate some of their techniques are, it was certainly interesting to see how resourceful they could be while on the run from The Museum. It's also definitely one that I'll be giving a reread to see how the plot unfolds.
