Loved this book! Wil quickly became one of my favorite characters. I love the mystery behind her powers, I love her bond with her slightly older brother and mother, and I loved her chemistry with Loom. One of my favorite things about this book is how so many of the characters surrounding Wil and Loom are actually interesting. They don't just feel like side characters, but ones you actually care about and want to know more of. I thought this book was going to be pure high fantasy, but a lot of modern technology is thrown in. It feels like a couple steps past steam punk which was really cool. My one true issue with this book is why isn't the sequel out yet! 4.75 out of 5.
