Claim Me Forever
by A.L. Jackson
I am loving this series. This is book 3 in the Time River series. This one has. One some of my favorite troupes: single dad and he falls first. Romantic suspense is quickly becoming my new favorite genre of books.
This book follows Ezra and Savannah. Ezra is the small town sheriff and Savannah is an outsider who Ezra found while she was trespassing. She is in town looking for her sister. Instantly Ezra feels protective over her. Savannah doesn’t trust easy and as we get to know her story you can understand why. Ezra falls first and he falls hard, but with three young kids to look after he is scared to let his guard down as well. The way these two were meant for each other is beautiful. Savannah was also amazing with Ezra’s children. I love found family in books and this one has that element as well.
Other troupes: forced proximity, cinnamon roll hero, heroine with secrets, who did this? vibes, nicknames, small town romance, he’s a sheriff.
I did a mix of audio and ebook and the audio won out and I continued with the book on audio. The narrators are 5/5. Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum did a fantastic job!
