took a little bit to get into, but once i did it was so hard to put down! i wasn't a huge fan of the plot twist tho since there was really no way you would've figured it out if you didn't live in this fictional society. the interspersing past and present was a cool technique, but it was unsatisfying when they didn't converge by the end, making the whole book sort of feel like backstory.
