This is a sequel to I Kissed Dating Goodbye. If you plan to read Harris at all, I would pretend that the first book didn't exist and start here.

Harris's second book cleans up a lot of the mistakes/cliffhangers in his first book. While I personally dislike the idea of courting, he offers a few good points that can be applied to Christian dating.

His material on purity/forgiveness is decent.

Some problems with his arguments:
*It seems that his answers are often 'avoid them.' Yes, this helps for a time, but this isn't always a 'solution' (addictions, pornography, etc.) but band-aiding a bigger heart issue. Those depths must be examined.

*While he is more down to earth than the Ludys, many of his examples of "godly character" are weak––more in his first book than this one. Some of the most spiritual people I know are void of the 'god language.'

*I would be wary of giving parents too much power. In western culture, 2 people decide to get married, and that's it. I say this to protect/acknowledge people who have been in more harmful movements associated with courtship (those movements aren't associated with Harris as far as I know).
