This book was so emotional and touching in very different ways. I found myself loving each character so deeply their pain was also mine.
I can see why this book may only be for a certain type of reader: this story is a character driven one, rather than a plot driven one. What I mean is that yes, there is a plot but more than that it’s a story about familial love and struggles. It speaks about mental health and loss and grief and so much more and it does all of this with grand delicacy, which is amazing.
If you don’t like books where nothing huge really happens, this will probably be extremely boring for you but, if you love a good character driven story than go for it, you will probably love this as much as I did!
Also, I really liked the writing style and the way the authors described scenes and feelings and settings and I really want to read more from her in the feature!
