This is one of the most realistic enemies to lovers stories I’ve read recently.

Aida and Cal are from different sides of Chicago (Italian & Irish mafia families) who have an old school rivalry. Aida sneaks into Cal’s home and unintentionally steals is grandfathers watch which leads him to retaliate, and their fathers to agree to an arraigned marriage.
Aida and Cal grow closer after their marriage, leaning more about each other, and do end up falling in love.

I like that there was no other woman/ man drama and that they both grew to love each other without changing who they are.
