This book was everything I look for in a romance. A strong, outspoken heroine who is learning her worth and is paired with a grumpy, slightly toxic (in the most delicious way) hero who secretly has a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humor? Yes, please.
Their chemistry is off-the-charts, but what really got me was the emotional depth. I even shed a few tears, which I generally hate to do. Add in a cast of lovable side characters and some older, fatherly figures who actually listen and care? It felt like being wrapped in a warm, emotionally satisfying hug.
Elsie Silver nailed the perfect balance of angst, banter, vulnerability, and swoon. Flawless lives up to its name.
