My Name is Red
by Orhan Pamuk
A great mix of history, art, romance and mystery. I was flipping pages in panic and excitement throughout. This book had an engrossing story, beautifully interwoven history ornated with exuberant writing. A perfect blend one could ask for. I don't regret one bit staying up at night to finish this book. It was really, really good.
However, it definitely had some boring bits too. In my opnion this could have been better if it were a 100 pages shorter.
