Chase Lovett Wants Me by Helena Hunting

“And then there you were.”
“I was always there.”
“I wasn’t ready for you yet.”

lmao I read this in one sitting😂

“Cuddle time?” I ask hopefully.
“You are such a sap,” Cammie observes.

My face hurts. From smiling. Think I was creepy smiling for like 70% of this book and had to constantly correct my face lmao

“Can I kiss you now?”
“On my face lips?”
He grins. “Seems like the most reasonable place to start.”

I am Cammie.

Not her bold moves toward Chase, because she had a backbone when it came to sex lmao but the part where she’s super uncomfortable in public or with people in general and I love reading about characters like that. Characters who are shy or introverted. Because hi.

I lean casually against the doorframe and finger the bottom of my shirt. “If you’re getting off, so am I.”
He blinks twice, licks his bottom lip, and nods. “Yeah. Yes. That… I want that.”

CHASE WAS THE BIGGEST SIMP.

I try to be cool even though it feels like rejection. I want her to like me as much as I like her.

He was obsessed and I loved it. He was also clueless at times, since he was so extroverted and Cammie was just the opposite, and it made for great plot points/dynamics - not sure that’s how I want to say that but it’s fine 😂

I lick my lips and glance down at his crotch.
“Don’t do that; he’ll know you’re looking and embarrass me,” he whispers.

Anyway, Helena did another amazing job on CLWM and I lovvvved all the cameos from Terror! I am so excited for Tally's story it's not even funny

“He’s a little obsessed with me.”

Thank you Helena and Sarah for this ARC!
